This is the advanced practitioner level of the A.R.M.
Accredited Member Level 2 membership certificate at no extra charge.
- Current membership of the Association.
- Each applicant must gain 20 points to reach this level. Allocated of 5 points for the obligatory article* (3,000 words) or a project on a health-related subject. The remaining 15 points are achieved by additional training and study to the amount of 300 hours, through approved courses and workshops (including volunteer work) each 100 hours accruing 5 points.
- All Accredited Members Level 2 must hold a Public Liability and Professional of Indemnity Insurance certificate of currency (minimum of $1,000,000).
Because of the diverse nature of the massage and bodywork industry, the Association Executive individually assesses each application for Accredited Membership Level 2. A.R.M. uses this points system to assess the applications, awarding points for approved training and experience in massage and health-related areas, substantiated by documentation. Medical or paramedical training or training in complementary therapies accrues points towards accreditation proportional to the extent and relevance of the training. * For more information see: Instructions to Level 2 Accredited Membership Applicants.
