The ARM Head Office received an invitation from the Ryde College Association, to be part of the "Health and Lifestyle Expo". This invitation came from Lydia Mcphie, the Student Events cocoordinator of the Ryde College Association.

The Expo was designed to encourage students to increase their health and fitness, and provide information on their life style choices. The Expo also created awareness of services and businesses that can assist students, teachers and staff, in living a healthy, safe and beneficial lifestyle.

ARM Members Ireen Allanson, Jenny Polaschek and Connie McNamee, offered to set up a stall at the Expo, with the intention to hand out information leaflets and directories, talk with people and offer Seated Massage to those interested. The Ryde College Association provided a free, covered stall site, Massage table and chairs, and the Catering students supplied us with drinks and sandwiches. There were about 15 other stalls, it was a lively event and we were very well looked after. We hung up the ARM Banner and some smaller posters to hand around the stall. No sooner had we covered the chairs and table, we were off at a fast pace, massaging one interested person after the other.

We handed out many over 200 pamphlets and finished at 2.20 pm, after many inquiries. It was a great opportunity to hand out business cards, as well as leaflets and directories

We were invited to attend next years Expo, and I accepted their invitation, hoping more supporting ARM Members will help attend the stall.
