Health Fund Requirements from A.R.M
Did you know A.R.M. forwards your name to the Health Funds on the 15th of each month, for your automatic recognition for provider statues?
The Health Funds requirements are that:
- You are a financial member of A.R.M.
- A.R.M has a copy of your Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance certificate of currency (minimum of $1,000,000).
- A.R.M has a copy of your current First Aid Certificate (Level 2 or Senior) or national equivalent.
- Your CPE points (20 per year) are showing an ongoing commitment to further education.
Practitioner Receipt Requirements
The Health Funds require that you must include:
- Practitioner name (yours).
- Address (a PO Box is not accepted).
- Practice telephone number (landline).
- Date of treatment.
- Your provider number. (If applicable to specific Health Fund)
- Your A.R.M. membership number.
Additional Details on Practioner's Receipts:
- Clients name.
- Type of treatment. e.g. Remedial Massage.
- Cost of treatment(s).
Health Funds may require your Australian Business Number (ABN) on the receipt.
Will all members be accepted by the Health Funds? This is not for the A.R.M. to say. The Health Funds set the criteria.
